Local, Remote Programming Possible With Day/Night Camera

Pelco of Clovis, Calif., has released a new compact day/night camera, the 1390 Series. These cameras sport a removable IR cut filter that switches between color and black-and-white as ambient lighting requires. An on-screen menu allows security professionals to program each camera individually. Programming can either be done locally using the controls located on the back of each camera or remotely using a Pelco controller that uses Pelco’s “P” or “D” protocols.

The on-screen menu can be used to program advanced features, such as the customization of camera settings for specific applications.  According to Pelco, the 1390 camera series is suited for the company’s DomePak and ImagePak fixed camera dome/enclosure packages. Its compact size and intuitive setup menus make it quick and easy to navigate.
