Lumidigm Mariner Fingerprint Reader
Lumidigm of Albuquerque, N.M. releases the Mariner fingerprint reader, which extends to Windows PC-based biometrics applications. The products multispectral imaging reads both surface and subsurface fingerprints in cold, hot, wet, dirty and dry conditions, according to the company.
Available as an OEM package, the sensor enables integration into PC keyboards, kiosks, hand-held devices or virtually any Windows PC-hosted application. It allows users to secure data data access to multi-user workstations, electronic medical records, enterprise single sign on, point of sale applications, time and attendance data collection, quality control and standards compliance, and more.
