Mass Notification System Provides Alert Tones, Announcements
Viking Electronics Inc. of Hudson, Wis., introduces a cost-effective digital mass notification/evacuation announcer designed to work with a casino’s existing paging system. The DNA-510 can provide five different alert tones and digitally prerecorded voice evacuation, severe weather warning, lockdown, and other instructions with a total record time of 2 minutes.
The alert tones and messages can be repeated one to 99 times or until they are reset. The DNA-510 connects to a phone line, phone system or VoIP (voice over Internet protocol) adapter and can be securely activated or reset from a remote location using any standard touch-tone phone. A live page can also be broadcast. When activated, the DNA-510 will interrupt any current paging or background music and inject alert tones and emergency instructions over the paging system.
