Mavin Releases Latest Version of its Security Management Platform

The Mavin Security Management Platform now supports Allegion NDE wireless locks.

Mavin Technologies has announced the availability of its Mavin Security Management Platform (SMP) version 4.2. This latest release features support for Allegion NDE wireless locks using ENGAGE technology.

In addition to the wireless lock support, Mavin SMP 4.2 also includes new email and texting functionality that allows system alarms to be distributed to anyone in the organization without the need to run dedicated software or apps.  The company says each e-mail and text includes detailed properties of the alarm including time stamp, location, and other defined details.

“The Allegion NDE wireless locks are a perfect complement to Mavin’s platform and are ideal for customers who have wireless technology needs” says Jeff Ross, managing director at Mavin Technologies, “Not only are the locks easy to install and manage inside our application, but the communications are also streamlined through Mercury’s intelligent field panels giving customers a single UI to monitor system activity.”

Mavin SMP 4.2 also includes TouchID Authentication support for iOS devices, an improved credential/badge design application, enhanced login security using one-way hash password authentication, and TLS communications encryption between Mavin and Mercury’s Intelligent Field Controllers.
