mobiDEOS MobileCamViewer Playback Feature
Milpitas, Calif.-based mobiDEOS unveils Playback, an upgraded feature to its MobileCamViewer mobile surveillance application.
Using a Dedicated Micros DVR, users can enter a specific date and time in the Playback window to access recorded content and highlight the specific window on the touchpad. The feature does not rely on a separate stream or service to transmit content. The direct, bandwidth-efficient connection also ensures that mobile devices receive an even video stream as opposed to a choppy, undesirable signal, according to the company.
The feature is available for customers using iOS devices, such as the iPhone and iPad. The company plans to make it available for Android phones and tablets in the near future.
