Modular Assemblies Permit Field Upgrades of All Components
Security Door Controls of Westlake Village, Calif., introduces the modular EMLock®. The new design includes interchangeable modular assemblies that permit field upgrade of all components without removing the lock from the frame, according to the company.
Field upgrade modules include a timer, magnetic bond sensor, door status sensor, anti-tamper switch, holding force upgrade and energy saver upgrade. The product eliminates delivery lead time and labor costs associated with lock replacement due to system requirements or parts exchange, according to the company.
