Napco Security Technologies of Amityville, N.Y., releases the school access control vulnerability index (SAVI), an informative evaluation tool created utilizing input from dozens of security experts in numerous fields/disciplines, according to the company.
Electronic security contractors can use the dynamic electronic checklist-type form to help clients assess their current security level. Following a survey of the school, SAVI automatically calculates a score for the facility, prompting integrators to make suggestions on how to increase security.
