Network Surveillance Recorder Supports 64 IP Cameras
San Jose, Calif.-based Sony Electronics announces its NSR-100 network surveillance recorder, which can be used in either a standalone system or a client/server configuration. This product includes features such as flexible recording and playback capability, an optional intuitive remote control unit, a GUI, intelligent motion detection and pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/z) camera control.
The product supports up to 64 IP cameras and can be controlled from a remote location by using route switching module RSM controller software. Additionally, the product uses DEPA™ technology for search functions and is MPEG4/JPEG compliant.
