Patent-Pending Technology Boosts Megapixel Camera Resolution
The SY125 Series of CCTV lenses by Wilsonville, Ore.-based Theia Technologies utilizes the company’s patent-pending Linear Optical Technology, which enables users to take advantage of high resolution megapixel cameras.
Linear Optical Technology allows the design of ultra-wide-angle lenses with fields of view of 125° while maintaining less than 3-percent barrel distortion. Distortion correction is achieved optically in the lens; no dewarping software is required. The SY125 Series of lenses are compatible with 1/3-inch security cameras. The lenses are designed for up to 3-megapixel cameras and are available with auto or manual iris, and with CS or C mount.
