Paxton Integrates With Arteco to Combine Video, Access Control Events
Arteco says the integration provides the ability to combine multiple data points into a single management platform to increase safety, security and intelligence.
GREENVILLE, S.C. — Paxton Access announces the integration of its Net2, IP access control with Arteco’s video event management system.
By integrating Paxton’s Net2 access control system with Arteco video event management systems (VEMS) through Arteco Open Connector, users can combine video and access control events to gain new insights into potential risks or incidents, according to the company.
“At Paxton, we put our core values of simplicity and quality at the heart of everything we do to answer the needs of the security market. Arteco is an ideal partner because of its range of video technologies, providing customers with advanced security information within an integrated platform,” says Paxton Chief Sales Officer Gareth O’Hara.
Through the integration, Paxton’s Net2 system can be managed within Arteco NEXT VEMS, enabling operators to control Net2 in combination with video surveillance cameras, intrusion systems, video analytics and other integrated devices from one centralized interface.
Paxton says the combination of the Net2 system and Arteco’s solutions enables users to gain additional levels of intelligence from their security infrastructure. For instance, access control events, such as a door held open, can be configured to generate an alarm with the Arteco VEMS.
“The integration of access control and video surveillance is of critical importance to a wide range of organizations and therefore, we are focused on developing close partnerships with today’s most innovative access control providers,” adds Arteco CEO Giampaolo Sabbatani. “Our integration with Paxton allows us to provide customers with the ability to combine multiple data points into a single management platform to increase safety, security and intelligence.”
