Robotic Assistance Devices Releases Wall-Mounted, AI-Powered Security Solution

RAD says the device is equipped with AI-centric technology that powers human detection analytics, featuring long-range detection at low false-alarm rates.

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. — Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD), a wholly-owned subsidiary of On the Move Systems, (OTCPK: OMVS), releases Wally, its latest version of the Security Control and Observation Tower (SCOT).

Wally is a wall-mounted security solution that harnesses the power of AI to enhance an organization’s situational awareness, communication abilities and control, according to the company.

SCOT Wally provides organizations with 110° of visibility and utilizes the RAD software suite, which is a collection of integrated software applications hosted in Microsoft’s Azure Cloud services that allows immediate and mobile access to alerts and controls generated by SCOT.

Priced at two-thirds less than the original SCOT tower, SCOT Wally is said to be well-suited for lobbies, parking structures, corporate campuses or exterior areas.

“SCOT Wally builds on the success of our original SCOT solution, providing a wall-mounted version for organizations looking to scale their security teams in a way that is good for the bottom line,” says Steve Reinharz, president and CEO, RAD. “This unique security solution can be paired with other original SCOT deployments or be used on its own.”

SCOT solutions, including  SCOT Wally, are equipped with AI-centric technology that powers human detection analytics, featuring long-range detection at low false-alarm rates, according to the company.

RAD SCOT Wally features include:

  • Human detection analytics with SuspectSpotter
  • License plate recognition with LicenseSpotter
  • Standalone power from RAD Power Systems
  • MAC Tracker capabilities through BOLO Technologies
  • Credential validation and access control
  • 24/7 equipment monitoring from RAD through the remote monitoring center
  • Long-range audio paging and close-range video intercom
