Acoem ATD Gunshot Detection System
Acoem’s ATD (Acoustic Threat Detection) system redefines gunshot detection with a single-sensor, edge-processed design that delivers detection, location and camera verification in real-time, without servers, triangulation or cloud dependency.
Each ATD-300 sensor processes sound locally using artificial intelligence trained on decades of battlefield data, identifying both the muzzle blast and the supersonic ballistic wave of a bullet in flight.
This dual-signature approach virtually eliminates false positives from fireworks or construction noise while giving first responders a fast, self-contained system that installs easily and scales from a single facility to a city-wide network.
Built on open standards (ONVIF Profile S), ATD sensors can directly control PTZ cameras to instantly slew to the detected coordinates, giving operators live visual confirmation in real time. The result is actionable intelligence, not just an alarm.
Because processing occurs entirely at the edge, ATD sensors can be deployed anywhere, from fixed perimeters to mobile trailers, without network or power-hungry infrastructure. A single sensor covers a 500-foot radius (10 football fields), dramatically reducing deployment cost and complexity.
For integrators, the system’s open architecture ensures seamless VMS integration, flexible deployment options and strong privacy safeguards, capturing only a 1.5-second audio clip per event.
The Acoem ATD gunshot detection system delivers the speed, certainty and adaptability that the industry has been demanding, in a package that removes the deployment and operational headaches of legacy systems.
