Optex, Inc., based in Rancho Dominguez, Calif., announces the release of the Redscan RLS-2020 series, which is a laser scanner detector that is said to provide accurate motion detection for indoor and outdoor security applications.
Its multi-angle adjustment and detection mounting options are scalable across a range of security applications, which the company says provides flexibility and ease of installation.
According to Optex, the detector’s high speed and resolution provide pin-point detection of small objects in indoor and outdoor applications, complementing camera-drive motion detection. The detection range covers 20m X 20m (65 feet x 65 feet) in both horizontal and vertical areas.
