Shallow Wireless Sensor Unseen
Honeywell Security recently announced the addition of the 5800Micra recessed transmitter to the firm’s growing wireless line of products. According to Honeywell, the new wireless sensor is so small that it virtually disappears once it’s been installed.
The 5800Micra is intended for environments where aesthetics are important and its size lends itself to vinyl window applications where drilling in the sill plate will void the manufacturer’s warranty. Honeywell also says the transmitter is equipped with a 10-year battery and the radio transmitter has exceptional range.
