Silent Knight IntelliKnight FACPs
Northford, Conn.-based Silent Knight by Honeywell introduces a new series of addressable devices, compatible with its IntelliKnight fire alarm control panels. The “SK” series of devices, manufactured by Honeywell’s System Sensor, increase system capacity and reduced installation time, according to the company.
To protect larger-size facilities, SK devices can be utilized to gain points on an IntelliKnight system’s Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) loop. As a result, the total capacity of the smallest 5 700 panel increases to 100 points, while the larger 5808 panel’s maximum point capacity grows to 198. For jobs requiring as many as 792 points, the capacity of Silent Knight’s largest 5820XL panel can be increased with the addition of up to three SLC loop cards.
