Speco SecureGuard V2.6 Adds Active Shooter Detection Integration
Speco has revealed an updated version of its SecureGuard VMS with active shooter detection integration, and released new 5MP IP zip kits.
AMITYVILLE, N.Y. — Speco Technologies announces the release of the latest version of its SecureGuard video management software (VMS).
SecureGuard v2.6 introduces integration with active shooter detection systems, including Guardian by Shooter Detection Systems. Guardian can be combined with SecureGuard’s managed video and mass alerting capabilities. Guardian deploys sensors which detects audible and infrared technology to detect gunshots.
SecureGuard is also integrated with Shot Tracer’s Eagle AP sensors with patent pending technology that detect the concussion emissions of a gunshot. Speco says gunshot technologies can be combined SecureGuard’s e-Map support, camera linking, pre/post alarm recording and SMS Alerts.
The update also allows you to view alarms and events in real-time with SecureGuard’s new productivity tool: Real-time Event List. Events are immediately displayed in the Event Viewer tab as they happen.
Speco says color-coded listing of events makes for quick and easy differentiation between motion, sensor and user triggered events. Users can reduce response time with direct video playback, bookmarking and acknowledgement capabilities, according to the company.
