Standalone Controller Supports 5,000 Card Users
Kantech of Brossard, Quebec, Canada, owned by Tyco Safety Products, has released the ioPass™ built-in reader/keypad/controller. It is a fully programmable standalone access control system that allows entry using proximity technology, keypad or both.
Programming is performed directly from the keypad and confirms each operation on the 16-character, two-line LCD display. The product supports up to 5,000 card users and comes with five programmed languages. Higher security is provided by the concealed door relay module.
