UL636-Standard Holdup Transmitter Prevents False Alarms
DigitalMonitoring Products (DMP) of Springfield, Mo., hasreceived the UL636 Holdup Alarm Units and Systems listing for the 1142two-button holdup transmitter.
The device sends silent alarms in retail, banking andinstitutional applications. Two buttons must be pressed simultaneouslyto decrease the risk of false alarms. The 1142’s two-waywireless panic is compatible with the XRSuper6, XR20 and XR40 CommandProcessor™ panels using the 1100D wireless receiver or theXR100 and XR500 Series control panels using the 1100X wirelessreceiver.
A built-in survey LED verifies two-way transmission forsingle-person installations. There is also a belt-clip version, 1142BC,which meets the UL 1023 Household Burglar Alarm System Units Accessorystandard.
