Brivo Systems’ webservice application Version 7.1

Brivo Systems of Bethesda, Md., announces Version 7.1 of its ACS WebService application. Version 7.1 provides increased flexibility for unique access control requirements while adding two new functions: group activated schedules and two-factor credentials. The latter is where both a hard credential and PIN are required. The former allows schedules to be linked to a specific group of users so that a schedule is not activated until a member of a specified group presents a valid credential. This approach features first-person-in, where credential holders from a specific group are designated to enable devices related to that schedule. It also features Supervisor-O-Site, where members of a specific group must present a valid credential to activate the schedule for the devices at that site.
