The VT-PTZ222NP 2.0-megapixel camera by Vitek of Valencia, Calif., is integrated with power over Ethernet (PoE).
The IP-based high-speed network pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/z) camera delivers real time live video up to 30 frames per second (fps) at 1,920 x 1,080p over a TCP/IP network. The company claims crystal clear images are achieved without tearing using a progressive scan CMOS image sensor, while minimal network bandwidth usage and storage space is achieved using a H.264 video compression algorithm. Motion JEPG is also supported for maximum flexibility and integration possibilities.
