Wide Dynamic Range Technology Integrated Into Speco Cameras
Mountain View, Calif.-based, Pixim announces its Digital Pixel System® (DPS) technology has been integrated into Speco Technologies’ new family of wide dynamic range security box, bullet and dome cameras. The surveillance cameras are targeted to markets including business, education and government, as well as high-end residential.
Speco’s WDR-B1(pictured), WDR-D3 and WDR-T6 security cameras leverage DPS wide dynamic range technology to deliver accurate video capture and color accuracy in challenging lighting conditions, such as glare, direct sunlight, reflections and strong backlight. The DPS image sensor converts light to a digital signal at each pixel, enabling each pixel to have independent, optimized exposure times.
