WorkHorse Releases SaaS Designed Specifically for Security Industry

From a single online dashboard, Workhorse’s software as a service allows companies to manage everything from service dispatches to invoices and more.

BRADENTON, Fla. — WorkHorse recently released what it says is a revolutionary Cloud-based software designed specifically for the security industry.

The software as a service (SaaS) provides management tools that security companies need on a daily basis, according to the company.

“Long ago, I came to realize that there’s not an adequate software available designed specifically for the security industry. Some were designed just to help you sell an alarm system, but not to assist in the sales and support of alarms, access control, CCTV, and automation,” says Steven Hayes, president, WorkHorse. “Our aim from the start was to assist security managers with the everyday tools they need to run a successful installation and service business.”

From a single online dashboard using a web browser, users are able to dispatch service and installation personnel. They can schedule and track client visits using a calendar, add contacts and companies, make sales, collect money, get contracts signed, set up subscriptions, and create and manage daily tasks, all from a single screen using an Internet browser, tablet, or smartphone.

“Companies are also able to create invoices and take full or partial payments as well as set up recurring invoices. Technicians now have the power to collect money from customers while still at their home or business. No more waiting for the technician to return their paperwork to the office and then bill out of a separate system,” adds Hayes.

From the WorkHorse dashboard, contacts are added and managed as well as company data within a secure, private, Cloud-based processing center. These management elements and more reside in a cyber-secure environment where client data is protected from outside intrusion, according to the company.

WorkHorse recently completed full two-way integrations with Affiliated Monitoring, AvantGuard Monitoring Centers, C.O.P.S. and Rapid Response.

These integrations allow alarm companies to have a single point of data entry and, removing the need to go into the central station software.

On & Offline, On & Off Test, Full Zones, Emergency Contacts, and System Tests all done through WorkHorse. WorkHorse is also integrated with Alarm.com with future plans for SecureCOM and Resideo.
