Among the most interesting technology shown off during the product innovation showcase at Connect 2018 was a new Honeywell modular commercial intrusion panel — a slick DIY security system for pro dealers to sell and hopefully monitor. Both are due in 2019. A nifty new fire panel was also shown with more features integrated into the panel itself. Honeywell also promoted its MAXPRO Cloud solution, among others.
