Security Sales & Integration recently talked to Michael Peveler, vice president of sales at AtlasIED, about the company‘s plans for ISC West 2024, scheduled for April 9 to 12 in Las Vegas, as well as what else is new for the company, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2024.
What is a leading product or offering that your company is showing off at ISC West this year? What makes it unique or special?
Peveler: At ISC West 2024 (booth 31061), AtlasIED unveils the latest addition to its Security Technology Solutions. IntelliSee, the newest brand within the solutions ecosystem, is an AI-powered video analytics risk management and threat detection solution.
It joins AtlasIED’s other security technology solutions including the IPX line and partner Singlewire’s Informacast mass notification software.
IntelliSee overlays with existing video surveillance systems to continually monitor live camera feeds to detect threats in real time. Once a threat is detected, instant alerts provide pre-determined stakeholders with the situational awareness and context needed to act quickly to prevent harm.
In situations where it’s warranted (and programmed), more urgent threats can automatically trigger lockdowns and emergency communication distribution and inform first responders through seamless integrations.
AtlasIED’s security technology ecosystem enhances the capabilities and coverage of security and life safety systems such as fire alarms, video surveillance, access control, and gunshot detection, greatly improving safety in a wide variety of applications from schools to transportation hubs.
Are there any other products or offerings that your company would like to highlight?
Peveler: AtlasIED will also showcase its IPX Series of IP-based endpoints with built-in loudspeakers, microphones, and displays to provide audio communications and visual text to support a range of facilities, including healthcare, educational institutions, and corporate and industrial facilities.
The IPX Family integrates with Singlewire’s InformaCast alert software to provide customers with an enhanced mass communications solution. With advanced emergency notification features, this power couple delivers audible and visual alerts both on-premise and to mobile devices to ensure information concerning intruders, severe weather, and other critical situations reaches everyone quickly and reliably.
What else is new or noteworthy about AtlasIED for 2024?
Peveler: AtlasIED recently announced another significant addition to its security technology solutions lineup. German high-performance loudspeaker manufacturer Aimline will bring the all-new Aimline Series ALX-D column loudspeakers to AtlasIED customers. The digitally steerable ALX-D column series loudspeakers comprise seven models with state-of-the-art beam steering and Dante audio as standard.
The series includes the ALX-4D, ALX-8D, ALX-16D, ALX-24D, ALX-32D, ALX-40D, and ALX-48D models, each is named based on the number of DSP channels/transducers included per model. Their controlled dispersion makes them ideal for acoustically challenging environments with the least possible architectural intrusion.
