ATV’s Retail product strategy includes HD IP, AHD and analog camera lines for typical interior and exterior applications (turret & bullet styles, vandal domes) and mini and full-size PTZs. In addition to the typical cameras, ATV has specialized and introduced to the market specialized cameras – specifically targeted to the needs of the retailer and banking opportunities.

ATV’s specialty retail cameras – most available in both analog and IP versions, include the most popular Height-Strip camera where a high resolution or mega-pixel camera is embedded within a height-strip housing allowing suspects facial image capture at “eye-level” without being masked by clothing or a cap. The complement to the full color height-strip model is a smaller mini-strip model for the same exit door application when better fit aesthetics is desired. Finally the ultimate “hidden camera” for retail applications is a small camera embedded into the door frame or mullion – currently this mullion camera is used at several national retailers as their only exit camera. Concern for parking lots, gas stations and convenience store traffic is minimized with ATV’s high-resolution License Plate Capture (LPC) camera. This high-speed LPC along with a recorder is used to view and capture images of vehicle’s plates entering and exiting your locations.

For the Point- of-Sale or cash register video recording to solve the issue of overhead cameras (masked by hoodies and hats), an even more unique product is offered – the TowerCam. The ATV Tower camera enables a high-resolution camera to be placed near the cash transaction area at face-level to capture the image of folks standing still at the cash register or teller location. For more demanding applications, a small board IP camera or ATM type design enables the retailer to place cameras in hidden and secure locations to monitor activities on the sales floor, back office, cash counting or transaction locations.

The ultimate retail solution is provided by pan-tilt-zoom cameras. The mini or full-size PTZ cameras enable the user complete control over specific camera views and if needed, to move the camera view and zoom to an on-going incident with extremely superior image quality. Again, this requires someone to drive the unit, but you can do that from home or other remote location using ATV’s popular mobile device applications.

Great cameras need great recorders. ATV’s supports the wide-range of analog cameras with either 960H recorders or with the new AHD – 2MP analog HD recorders. The mixed product solution is the ATV Hybrid recorder sporting up to 32 channels of IP recording or 16×16 analog/IP. The ATV IP cameras are supported with either the lower-cost ECO line of PoE network recorders or the more powerful NVRP series (also PoE) recorders. Most of the analog and network recorders support eSATA external storage devices for extended HDD capabilities – meaning longer record and archiving capabilities.
