NEW YORK – Security proved to be alive and well in New York, with more than 8,700 security professionals attending the International Security Conference (ISC) East at New York’s Jacob Javits Convention Center.
Those who attended the Aug. 24 and 25 show were given an opportunity to learn about new and exciting technologies and equipment, innovative sales techniques, and other equally important subjects through 28 seminar sessions, including 18 factory training courses given by 13 manufacturers.
In addition, 328 companies – spread across 70,000 square feet of show floor – revealed a caldron of software, equipment and industry services. According to show organizer Reed Expositions, attendance for ISC’s second-straight New York run was up by 3 percent compared to 2004.
