Published: April 3, 2019

ISC West 2019 will be held April 9-12 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.

Ahead of this year’s show, SSI spoke with Lencore Vice President of Marketing David Smith to find out what the company will be showcasing at ISC West.

What is the top product or offering your company is showing off at ISCW this year, and what makes it unique or special?

n.FORM mass notification solution with Field Alert and Field PoP. This communication platform meets the UL 2572 Standard to interface with a fire alarm control unit (FACU). n.FORM provides the ability to communicate in the event of an emergency through overhead paging, desktop notification, social media (i.e., Twitter, Skype, etc.), SMS/Text, voice (pre-recorded or live), and much much more. It also has the ability to override the FACU in an active shooter situation.

What other products or offerings would you like to highlight, and what are some of their unique qualities?

Field PoP is a control and system maintenance platform that allows the user to access the system from anywhere in the world.

What else is new or noteworthy about the company for 2019?

Lencore is the ONLY sound masking company that meets the UL 2572 standard for mass notification to shut down in the event of any emergency. This allows an intelligible notification to be sent out to building occupants.

What is your company’s overall value proposition to installing security dealers/integrators? Why should they do business with you?

Security integrators can create value by offering additional solutions (i.e., communications) during events. Lencore’s system is easy to install and integrate with other systems.

What do you see as some of the top opportunities in the marketplace right now?

This is an $ 11 billion market. That’s the opportunity.

You can find Lencore at ISC West in booth #4097.
