NFPA Conference in June to Be Held in Bean Town

Quincy, Mass. — The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) will hold its annual World Safety Conference & Exposition at the new Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

More than 150 sessions in 11 educational tracks will be conducted during the conference, June 3-7. Among the session highlights: “The Cocoanut Grove Fire Revisited,” “Electrical Safety, OSHA, and NFPA 70E®,” “Mass Notification — Where Is It Heading?,” “Questions on the WTC Investigation” and “Using Risk Concepts in Codes and Standards Development.”

David McCullough, historian and best-selling author of such books as “John Adams” and “1776,” will present a keynote addressing “Leadership and the History You Don’t Know.”
