Security Networks announces the acquisition of Automated Systems Group Inc. (ASG), a distributor of engineered fire systems that will now operate under the name FireNet Systems, a wholly owned company of Security Networks. ASG is one of the largest Notifier distributors in the southeast. Notifier is a manufacturer of fire alarm products, with more than 400 distributors worldwide. Projects recently completed by ASG include Office Depot’s corporate offices and JFK Hospital.
“Integration is the key word in today’s engineered systems,” says Barry MacDonald, co-founder of ASG. “By joining forces with Security Networks, we will be able to offer fully integrated security solutions to our clients.”

Security Networks has more than 30 employees and conducts business in three states.
