Sensormatic Electronics Corp. has completed the acquisition of the assets of security systems integrator Enable Systems Engineering Company Ltd. Based in Taipei, the company is Taiwan’s leading high-end security systems integrator, designing, installing and servicing access control and video surveillance systems. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“The acquisition of Enable makes Sensormatic the first non-Taiwanese-based security company to deal directly in this expanding market,” says Per-Olof Loof, Sensormatic’s president and CEO.
Enable had been the nonexclusive dealer of Sensormatic’s access control and video systems in Taiwan for the past five years and operates three service offices in Taiwan.
