In the world of cellular alarm communicators, Telguard stands out from the crowd by bringing the industry’s first device to market that has all carriers in a single device: the Telguard TG-7FM. In this exclusive interview with Security Sales & Integration, Telguard’s Daniel Rosales dives into its groundbreaking capabilities.

Telguard TG-7FM and its Multi-Carrier Capabilities
According to Rosales, “What it really comes down to is, it has the ability to look for, utilize and switch as needed between the three major carriers in the U.S. That would be AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile.”
Additionally, Rosales pulls back the curtain the carrier selection process that empowers the Telguard TG-7FM.
“It’s a patent-pending approach that we’re taking to being able to analyze the performance of all carriers and, based on that, make a determination as to what carrier is best for that particular installation,” he says.
Later in the conversation, Dan Ferrisi, group editor for commercial and security at Emerald, asks Rosales to give integrators confidence that the Telguard TG-7FM will “choose” the best-performing carrier at any given moment.
He replies, “We want to put the customer’s mind at ease and say that Telguard has all three major carriers.” He adds, “Now, the question about bias…the question about performance…this is where our technology comes into play.”
Rosales explains further, saying, “Because we have direct connections to every single one of these carriers, there really is no incentive on anybody’s side for us to use one carrier over another. The real incentive is for us to provide a device [the Telguard TG-7FM] that performs as flawlessly as possible so that our customers can begin to trust Telguard as that device that will communicate in any region in the United States, no matter what.”
Toward the end of the conversation, Rosales shares even more details about Telguard and its relationships with the respective carriers. Plus, he offers an exciting glimpse at the company’s product pipeline.
