- Highly skilled entrepreneur with 35+ years of electronic security industry success
- In 1978, founded National Security Service (NSS) in Raleigh, N.C., and grew it into one of the nation’s largest regional alarm security companies with 40,000+ monitored accounts and more than $20 million in revenues
- Negotiated and completed 29 alarm company acquisitions before selling NSS to Entergy in 1996
- As CEO of Entergy Security, orchestrated 28 acquisitions as the business grew to 206,000+ monitored accounts and in excess of $82 million in revenues at the time of its 1999 sale to Tyco/ADT
- Since 2000, has led NetOne (formerly Security Network of America) as managing director, providing business guidance and coordination for 35 of the security industry’s leading independent operators
- As Central Station Alarm Association president (1993-95), changed bylaws to include eligibility of wholesale monitoring companies as members and laid groundwork for CSAA to represent today’s UL central station industry
- Two-time president of the North Carolina Burglar Alarm and Fire Association, he has also held numerous leadership and board positions for national trade associations and businesses
