Aiphone Introduces IX Series Kit
The latest product from Aiphone is a completely preprogrammed solution that includes a video intercom system that is ready to install straight from the box.
The new IX Series kit is supported by Aiphone with educational materials that includes a USB drive that's packaged with the kit that contains "how-to-install" videos.
REDMOND, Wash.—Aiphone, an international manufacturer of intercom and security communication products, has announced the addition of its IX Series kit. The kit is a preprogrammed box set complete with a video intercom system that is ready to install right out of the box.
Aiphone states the recently-introduced IXS-HBDV includes a video door station, a video master station, PoE switch, and a USB drive with instructions and videos on how to install the system. The company boasts The easy-to-use kit takes the guess work out of which devices to use and how to install them.
“Our IX Series kit is an important addition to the Aiphone portfolio because it allows locksmiths and other low voltage installers who are not currently installing this type of system to get their foot in the door,” says Brad Kamcheff, marketing manager, Aiphone Corporation.
“All the installer has to do is run the wire and plug it in. It’s that simple.”
Aiphone IX Series Kit Designed to Help Dealers Modernize Their System Installations
According to the Pacific Northwest-based company, the IX Series kit can be used installers who have traditionally worked with plug-and-play analog-based systems and are now looking to become more familiar with IP systems.
In addition to providing all the components required for a complete video intercom system, the IX Kit also includes a step-by-step guide. This includes a USB drive that contains system configuration files and “how-to” videos that provide detailed installation instructions.
Aiphone’s IX Series was developed to provide dealers with a robust video intercom solution with more than 30 different components to choose. Aiphone emphasizes the product line provides everything from SIP-compatible video master stations and IP video door stations with t-coil compatibility, to flush-mounted IP door stations and adaptors.
