Arecont Vision Promotes Industry Vet to V.P. of North America Sales
LOS ANGELES — Arecont Vision has named Carole Dougan as vice president of North American sales.
In her new role, Dougan, who formerly served as the company’s vice president of strategic accounts, will be responsible for all sales in the United States and Canada. The North America regional sales directors, regional sales managers, director of strategic accounts and director of national systems integrators are now part of her organization.
Dougan started in the security industry in 1985 in a customer service/training role demonstrating the use of time-lapse VHS recorders and sequential switchers to end-users. She previously served as Pelco’s director of strategic accounts, spent several years in, national accounts, engineered systems design and sales with ADT and Securus (now Kratos| HBE).
Last year, Dougan was named 2012 Woman of the Year in the Manufacturer category by the Women’s Security Council (WSC).
