Convergint Technologies Acquires Enion AG Integrated Security Solutions to Expand in Europe
Convergint’s addition is just the latest in a series of acquisitions made in 2016.
Convergint says it is "servicing more global customers today than ever before."
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Convergint Technologies announced another acquisition on Tuesday, this time of Enion AG Integrated Security Solutions to expand Convergint’s presence in Europe.
Enion, based in Switzerland, is said to offer reliable, innovative and cost-effective security solutions tailored to the complex needs of clients. Convergint says it will leverage Enion’s location and expertise to better service sophisticated global customers that are facing challenging integration needs on an enterprise level.
Convergint has been busy with acquisitions in 2016. Back in January it added Dakota Security Systems, and this past week it acquired H&E Comfort Controls.
“We are servicing more global customers today than ever before, and we are continuing to build out our worldwide service capabilities,” said Dan Moceri, executive chairman and co-founder of Convergint Technologies. “With rich experience in solving complex integration issues, Enion will play an important role in enabling us to be the best service provider for our global customers.”
Enion CEO Andre Dill says Convergint shares the same “social values” as Enion, and it is looking forward to “building the leading service provider in the region.” Dill also called Convergint a reliable and financially strong partner.
