False Alarm Network Divides Into 6 Reporting Regions

BETHESDA, Md.—False alarm reporting and prevention will be handled by six Regional Dispatch Reduction Coordinators across the United States and Canada and reporting to the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA). In each region, the False Alarm Network (FAN) coordinator will gather new ordinance information from a network of local and state FAN representatives. Representatives will also be trained by their coordinator on false alarm prevention education techniques.
