GE Completes Interlogix Purchase, Merges Company Names
PLAINVILLE, Conn.
GE Industrial Systems, a division of General Electric Co. (GE), has completed the purchase of Interlogix Inc. The purchase accounts for roughly 95 percent of Interlogix shares.
Interlogix is now a wholly owned subsidiary of GE, and will be known as GE Interlogix Inc. Ken Boyda, president and CEO of Interlogix, will keep his role but will now report to GE Industrial Systems president and CEO Lloyd G. Trotter. Brian McCarthy remains CEO of the Americas.
