Shipp Sets Sail as NBFAA Executive Director; Guilbeau Succeeds as Interim
SILVER SPRING, Md.— After five years as executive director for the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA), Brad Shipp has resigned from his position. The action took place in March. Merlin Guilbeau of Brown’s Security Systems Inc. in Natchitoches, La., will succeed Shipp as interim executive director.
Shipp was involved with NBFAA since 1991. “I have gained many friends and colleagues through NBFAA, but now it’s time for me to write a new chapter in my life,” he says.Guilbeau, a member of Security Sales & Integration‘s Editorial Advisory Board, will serve in a one-year interim capacity, which took effect April 1. “I look foward to the challenge this NBFAA position brings,” he says.
