2004 Masters Circle All-Stars: 40 Products Our Industry Can Depend On

La crème de la crème. The best of the best. MVP. Best in show. However you say it, and in whatever language, it all conveys the same thing: excellence. And almost every industry and institution has a measure of greatness. The film industry holds an annual marathon presentation of the Academy Awards. Athletes compete for the coveted Stanley Cup, Vince Lombardi Trophy and gold medals. Dog breeders fluff and primp their poodles for the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

But if thespians earn gold statuettes, jocks get a shiny trophy and dogs win blue ribbons, security industry manufacturers are certainly entitled to a little limelight. Thus, enter Security Sales & Integration‘s 2004 Masters Circle All-Stars list, which annually highlights the industry’s best-selling products in various categories: access control systems and software; access control hardware, readers and entry systems; CCTV products; burglar alarm controls; DVRs; intrusion sensors; and fire/life safety equipment.

The SSI staff pored over its Brand Awareness study and grilled distributors, contractors/installers and other industry insiders to decide which manufacturers and products were spotlight-worthy. And while there are many manufacturers with excellent products not listed this year, the Masters Circle highlights the companies that raise the bar for security industry products.

There’s no need to rehearse lines, warm up or primp, just sit back and welcome 2004’s Masters Circle All-Stars.
