4K Cameras
uniview tec ‘s 4K cameras include the 12MP 360° Fisheye camera (IPFE4360) and the 4K 12MP 22X PTZ (IPCSD4K22). The 4K 360° Fisheye provides 4,000 x 3,000 resolution with a 1.8mm 360° panoramic lens with TDN and WDR to meet all lighting conditions and the embedded IR LED illumination provides night-time operation up to 65 feet. The uniview tec Fisheye supports distortion correction and offers multiple display options with 180°, 360°, Panoramic and PTZ functions. The 4K 22X PTZ provides the same 12MP resolution coupled with a 22X motorized lens (6.5 – 143mm), automatic focus and powerful video analytics including behavior, exception, identification and statistics. The camera features SMART LEDs for illumination up to 825 feet with no hot-spots. Additional new products, include the 4K 8MP in turret, bullet and vandal dome options – all with 2.8-12mm VF, TRUE DN, WDR, corridor view, SD slot, IP67 rating and SMART IR capabilities up to 164 feet. All uniview tec cameras interface with the uniview tec VMS, MAC VMS, iOS and Android devices for remote viewing capability and control.
The 4K cameras feature a built-in SD card slot which enables local camera storage up to 128GB and is used to provide video backup in the event of a network failure. The Automatic Network Replenishment (ANR) feature of the 4K cameras will record the camera’s video on the SD card if a network interruption occurs. Upon network correction, the camera will automatically replenish the SD card video to the network recorder.
Ultra 265 Compression
The univew tec products feature Ultra 265 compression meaning you can see more with less, by providing high resolution images with lower bitrates and reduced storage requirements. The Ultra 265 is based on uniview tec’s U-Code enhanced encoding technology which saves bandwidth and storage requirements up to 80% to 95% compared with standard H.264/H.265 compression technologies.
The Ultra 265 compression provides a lower bandwidth solution by allowing more cameras to be placed on the network without loading down the internal IT infrastructure. For example, using a typical 2MP camera you can employ twenty cameras on a 20Mb broadband network versus only being able to employ five cameras on the same 20Mb network using H.264 compression cameras. In addition, when it comes to video retention for a period of three months the Ultra 265 compression reduces the amount of storage required from four 4 TB drives to only one 4 TB drives when using four 2MP cameras. For mobile devices the lower bandwidth provides faster image update options to enhance the camera images displayed on the mobile device.
