Aimetis Names Software Development Vet as Vice President of Engineering
WATERLOO, Canada — Aimetis Corp., a provider of intelligent IP video management software, has appointed David Thompson to serve as vice president of engineering.
With more than 25 years of experience in software development, Thompson worked as senior director of engineering excellence at Blue Coat Systems where he led quality improvement initiatives across the 400-plus member engineering organization. Prior to Blue Coat, Thompson served as director of process improvement and special projects at Invensys Process Systems, and director of R&D for i2 Technologies, now part of JDA Software Group.
