Avigilon Appoints Executives to Meet Growing Demand for HD Systems

VANCOUVER, Canada — In an effort to address the growing demand of its high definition (HD) surveillance solutions, Avigilon has promoted four executives.

As vice president of sales for the Americas and Asia Pacific, Bryan Schmode will be responsible for heading up the company’s business operations to support continued growth throughout those areas.

In his position as senior sales director for the eastern United States, Brian Giampaoli will manage customer, integrator and consultant relationships, as well as generating growth in the region.

Bryan Terrell has been appointed to the newly created position of regional sales director for the south central United States. Terrell, a former systems integrator for Convergint Technologies, will be responsible for managing existing customer needs and bolstering sales in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Formerly a regional sales manager for IQinVision, Gary Thomas will take on the role of regional sales director for the Pacific Northwest, responsible for meeting the growing market demand for Avigilon’s HD surveillance solutions in the region.

“By adding experienced and highly respected professionals and promoting high-performance individuals from within the company, we will remain well-positioned to handle the fast-pace growth we expect in 2011 and beyond,” says Avigilon President and CEO Alexander Fernandes.
