IDIS to Showcase ‘Total Solution’ Offerings at ASIS 2016
IDIS will highlight its 64-channel NVR, Super Fisheye Camera and Smart UX camera controls, among other wares from its video surveillance portfolio.
IDIS will exhibit its portfolio of video surveillance products and solutions at ASIS 2016 in booth #2633.
COPPELL, Texas – Global surveillance provider IDIS will be showcasing the next generation of its Total Solution offerings at the ASIS Int’l Seminar & Exhibits in Orlando. Among the latest wares is the most powerful and feature-rich 4K NVR brought to market by IDIS to date, according to the company. Also featured will be the IDIS Smart UX Controls and the integrated video management system, IDIS Solution Suite.
In more detail, here is a look at just some of the IDIS products that will be on display in booth #2633:
- IDIS DR-8364 NVR, featuring the IDIS Intelligent Codec H.265/H.264, 900Mbps throughput, redundant power and IDIS Smart Failover technology. The IDIS DR-8364 provides users with enterprise-level surveillance operations at an NVR price point, according to the company.
- IDIS Smart UX Controls offers operators with an advanced, yet accessible user interface, delivering super smooth “Rubberband” and “Slingshot” pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/) tracking and monitoring, according to the company.
- IDIS Solution Suite, a highly scalable and flexible VMS, offering a unified user experience across different technology platforms in a modular manner that delivers customized feature sets at an affordable price point, by device, that is simple and affordable without hidden costs, according to the company.
Additionally, IDIS partner and homeland security solutions specialist Edge360 will also be exhibiting in the Technology Partners section of the IDIS booth, where they will feature the Rapidly Redeployable Mobile Surveillance Solution, an adaptive mounted surveillance system suitable for both tactical utilization and city-wide deployment.
A rugged and agile surveillance tool, the Rapidly Redeployable Mobile Surveillance Solution was primarily developed for the coverage of urban events or other high foot traffic scenarios with changing points of interest.

The system was deployed as a proof of concept during the City of Houston’s 2016 Freedom Over Texas Festival during the July 4th holiday weekend, effectively enhancing situational awareness for law enforcement and public safety personnel.
The scalable nature of the Edge360 system ensures sufficient mobility to cover changing points of interest with a small number of cameras, while IDIS mobile communication software also allows for deployment across entire cities, according to the company.
IDIS will also feature the latest iteration of its flagship DirectIP, a simple end-to-end system with third-party IP camera protocol support; plug-and-play with automatic device discovery and configuration; real-time DirectIP configuration; and little to no perceivable latency in live monitoring, according to the company.
