International Electronics Inc. (IEI) has hired Peter Demakis as COO. He will play a leading role in the development and execution of IEI’s industrial product strategy. Previously, Demakis was with Reebok Int’l, the Vantage Group and Midland Farm Stores Inc.
Kevin Kremposky has joined Security Equipment Supply Inc. (SES) as regional sales manager for its Nashville, Tenn., Memphis, Tenn., Indianapolis and Louisville, Ky., branches. Kremposky has been involved in security installation, distribution and manufacturing for 17 years.
In other SES news, Earnest Bernard has joined the company as sales manager for its 10 branches. He has been in the industry for 11 years.
Karen Madden, long-time employee of G.R.I., passed away Aug. 18 at the age of 62. She began her work as an account manager for G.R.I. in 1985. Madden is survived by nine children, 21 grandchildren and
four sisters.
Wayne P. Hurd has been appointed vice president of sales of Digimerge. Hurd has 16 years of industry experience and has worked with GE Interlogix and ADT Canada.
