Lumeo Earns Milestone Verified Solution Status

Lumeo, a provider of IP surveillance products, has announced that its products are now a Milestone Verified Solution.
OAKLAND, Calif. — Lumeo, a developer of computer vision products, has announced that its Lumeo platform is now a Milestone Verified Solution.
Milestone Systems is a global provider of IP video surveillance software and the maker of the Milestone XProtect video management solution. Lumeo says the Milestone Verification Program is designed to verify the general functionality and compatibility of partners’ products with XProtect.
“We are pleased to receive this verification from Milestone,” states Bob Cutting, COO of Lumeo. “Trust and reliability are vital in the video surveillance industry, and the verification steps that Milestone performs ensures that the Lumeo Platform is interoperable with and optimized for the XProtect video management software.”
Lumeo Milestone Verified Solution Complements XProtect
As an open-platform product, Lumeo points out that its Milestone verified solution addresses the challenges associated the bridging new A.I. models with a maturing landscape that is attempting to bring intelligence and automation to their systems.
According to the company, its easy-to-use platform offers security integrators, video-platform developers, solution engineers and ISVs everything they need to employ the latest A.I. technologies to build drag-and-drop tools that can run on the edge or in the Cloud.
Lumeo explains that customers can use the Milestone Verified Solution with Milestone XProtect to meet the analytic needs they require to send events, annotated snapshots and metadata to XProtect. XProtect can then trigger alarms and alerts, and it can conditionally record video and perform forensic searches to provide security teams with an easy and reliable way to add analytics to their systems.
The company goes on to note the Milestone Open Network Bridge is compliant with parts of ONVIF Profile G and Profile S to provide access to live and recorded video, and it allows for pan/tilt/zoom control of cameras.
Lumeo adds that another of the advantages of its Milestone Verified Solution certification is that its product can interface with the Milestone Open Network (ONVIF) Bridge to automatically ingest videos streams, and it can associate analytic events to Milestone with the correct camera angle to save users money in configuring the system.
