Following its 20th anniversary celebration, IDIS returns focus to partner- and customer-driven innovations for the modern security environment

Earlier this month, IDIS returned to the ISC West for the company’s first U.S. trade show appearance following the conclusion of the company’s year-long 20th Anniversary celebration, “Two Decades of Innovation,” redirecting focus to the IDIS technological offerings—both new and established—set to define its next two decades.

In its 21^st year, IDIS will highlight one of the manufacturer’s most powerful differentiators, the IDIS Total Solution, a complete, end-to-end solution, one that is able to meet surveillance needs of any size, configuration (including hybrid analog/IP and integrated legacy technology/IDIS systems), or complexity. From HD-TVI to H.265—including the company’s newly built-out 4K Total Solution—IDIS technology works seamlessly from image capture, through recording and display. Significantly, every camera, recorder, encoder, monitor, and more is designed, developed, and manufactured in-house at IDIS facilities in South Korea, guaranteeing quality and interoperability.

The 2018 IDIS Total Solution is the company’s most comprehensive yet, with an expanded 4K Total Solution and the increasingly popular innovative IDIS VGA/HDMI encoder (which allows for greater situational awareness and improved business intelligence gathering utilizing existing surveillance technology), each demonstrating IDIS’s continued commitment to innovation that brings practical and measurable value to its users.

At ISC West, IDIS also featured a complete lineup of H.265 IPC/NVR products—including an enhanced IDIS 12MP Super Fisheye Camera, powerful IDIS DR-8364 NVR, (featuring 900Mbps throughput, redundant power, IDIS Smart Failover technologies, and world-leading IDIS Intelligent Codec H.265/H.264 performance). Each builds upon the company’s flagship DirectIP™ end-to-end IP surveillance platform, popular for its true plug-and-play (self-installing and self-configuring) industry-leading ease of use, and all delivered with IDIS Center, the company’s full-featured VMS, at no charge (for licensing or updates).

The company, which also recently won two major global design honors for its newest and most powerful PTZ camera, also rolled out the IDIS SmartPhone Cam, which helps end-users take the security and power of IDIS surveillance everywhere they go, and Privacy Masking, which enables thorough documentation of incidents and preservation of video evidence while effortlessly protecting those incidentally recorded in the process.
