Security Dealer Network Launches DIY DragonFly Web Site
Using SDN’s e-commerce platform, consumers can purchase video surveillance products directly through the Web site.
PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Security Dealer Network (SDN) launched a new Web site to provide alarm dealers and others with information on the opportunities of signing up to be a reseller of the company’s DragonFly DIY video surveillance and monitoring system.
The company’s new Web site makes it easy for alarm dealers to learn about and sign up for the opportunity to expand their business model and increase recurring monthly revenue, says Bart Didden, president, SDN.
“The site walks prospective dealers through the product lineup and answers questions about how the program works,” says Didden. “Our goal is the dealer’s success and customer peace of mind and we believe our new website is the first step in that process.”
SDN offers alarm dealers the opportunity to become part of their sales network and RMR income by offering DragonFly DIY video surveillance and monitoring services to customers. There are no start-up or other costs associated with joining SDN’s dealer network. The program provides dealers with custom Web sites which are built, branded and targeted to consumers with DragonFly’s marketing and messaging.
Using SDN’s e-commerce platform, consumers can purchase video surveillance products directly through the Web site. Orders are shipped for free directly to the consumer and SDN provides the central station monitoring. Dealers simply promote the DragonFly solution to their communities and receive RMR generated by the consumers’ monthly monitoring fees for each user they sign up, according to the company.
DragonFly cameras are wireless and battery operated and can be used for indoor and outdoor settings. Several different systems and monitoring plans are available to suit users’ budgets and needs. The system can be viewed and multiple actions including police dispatch can be taken through the DragonFly smartphone app.
