Seneca to Bring Remote Management Tool, New NVRs to ISC West 2018
Seneca says its primary value proposition is making hardware easier and faster to set up and configure for video surveillance.
Seneca Market Development Manager Ron VanTassel spoke to SSI ahead of ISC West to share what the coming is bringing to the show. You can find their offerings at booth 7033.
What is the top product or offering your company is showing off at ISC West this year, and what makes it unique or special?
Seneca will be showing Xconnect 2018. Xconnect 2018 (XC18) Remote Management Tool is the latest enhancement to the already impressive Seneca Physical Security line of products. Xconnect allows you to report, manage and maintain all aspects of a security installation. From camera function to storage integrity, XC18 puts you in control of your entire environment from a single, intuitive dashboard. Xconnect 2018 monitors your security environment with advanced intelligence and empowers you to manage and maintain each and every function of your installation from a single web-based user interface.
While Xconnect’s functionality may be expected to center around the performance monitoring of Network Video Recorders, the application also provides command and control functionality on the device level. Xconnect provides increased system uptime through built in situation management functions which can be programmed to perform initial troubleshooting steps as soon as an event is detected. While the error alert is pushed to your email, third party application or mobile device, XC18 can perform alert-workflow tasks in the background eliminating support calls.
