SS&I Survey Winner ‘Happley’ Receives $100 Gift Certificate

William Happley is the winner of the drawing for the $100 Amazon.com gift certificate, as he was one of the participants in Security Sales & Integration’s 2001 Sales and Marketing survey. He was automatically entered in the drawing.

Happley is a manager with Premium Protection Inc. in Southfield, Mich. The company carries ADT and Ademco products and has been in business 16 years.In 2000, Premium Protection made $2 million in gross revenue, with 12 percent of its budget devoted to marketing. Its sales efforts resulted in a nearly 75-percent close rate on new business. The dealership concentrates on its strong (85-percent) base of home accounts, but is planning no increase in marketing spending for 2002.

Upon finding out he had won the gift certificate, Happley was nearly stunned into silence, responding, “What a surprise!”
