Vicon Introduces V-Cell Corner Mount Cameras
At the upcoming ISE West Show show in Las Vegas on March 28-30, Vicon will show its new V-Cell line of corner mount cameras in booth #5081.
The V-Cell corner mount cameras from Vicon provide options such as AI-based analytic capabilities and aluminum tamper-resistant housings.
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.—Designed to provide dealers and their clients a choice of unobtrusive, versatile camera solutions, Vicon has announced its new V-Cell series of corner mount cameras.
Vicon explains that its new corner mount cameras are manufactured in a unique way to provide complete coverage of a space to allow dealers to use the cameras for an array of applications. Outlining its latest products, Vicon says it offers dealers a choice its Roughneck AI series of corner cameras, which includes a standard product, as well as the upgraded V-Cell High Security Corner Cameras, and a camera module for V-Cell retrofit options.

Highlighting some of the benefits that its new camera products offer, Vicon points out that dealers and their clients can take advantage of the products’ A.I.-based analytics, which will be available shortly. Vicon says that through the AI capabilities that it is set to provide through the cameras, users can access important post-event searches and they can minimize false or nuisance alarms.
The V-Cell products also provide built-in microphones that dealers can disable if the client does not desire the ability to include audio in their security monitoring, as well as 2.4mm lenses that offer wide viewing angles, and the inclusion of Starlight low-light technologies that enables the cameras to pick up clear color images in low-light environments.
Taking a brief look at the products, Vicon notes the 5 MP Roughneck AI Corner Mount Camera provides wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling coverage of small- to medium-sized rooms. The V-Cell High-Security Corner Camera can be used for applications such as correctional facilities through its impact-resistant construction and tamper-resistant mount.
